Out of the blues, I felt like posting the videos of  our practices in my blog.   So I am going start with this one first.

Ballroom Dancing

This pictures was taken before the Champagne & Rose Guest Party. We didn't join the party. This was our 7th lesson with Strictly Ballroom at 6926 South Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74136.



Ballroom dancing is fun and besides we get to exercise as we move to the music, whether it is waltz, rumba, foxtrot, chacha, tango, quickstep, jive, swing, etc.

My first ballroom dancing lesson, in a dance studio, was in 1991. I can't remember how many of my lady friends shared the cost of the one hour lesson. I love it and that brought me back, alone, to the teacher for more lessons on a one to one basis.

Even though I did not attend social ballroom dancing, because I didn't have a partner who is interested, I am grateful that it had helped me in other forms of dances that I have since learnt and continue to dance and enjoy.

Hopefully this time my partner have enough interest to continue learning the steps and master how to lead me. And then we can go ballroom dancing.

This is so funny and entertainment! The group is great. The boy with the pamper is best. He is playing the part of a baby and he danced till the end even though his pampers fell off! Great video.

According to the programme, there were 4 groups performing today and a 5th group would perform tomorrow.

I got to see the first 2 groups only. I enjoy watching them.

The sword dance - I was told that this dance was performed before a war and if the dancer step on the sword, he will lose the battle.
