Chern Xi 2nd Anniversary - 2006

Tonight, the Chern Xi dance group celebrated their 2nd anniversary. The cake was made by their teacher - fantastic!

2 dance groups were invited to this party. The Likas Galaxy dance group.
And the Luyang dance group.

The presents that I received from the Chern Xi dance group: a big card, a bouquet of flowers and a pair of dual coloured fans.
What an enjoyable evening!

Likas Galaxy 1st Anniversary - 2006

The Likas Galaxy dance group celebrated their 1st anniversary this morning, at their place of practice (Likas Antarabangsa hall). It was not as big as the Luyang hall but it was cosy enough for the people who gathered there.
Everyone danced together (the Likas Galaxy and their guests from the Likas Tai Chi)
An umbrella dance, presented by the Likas Galaxy.
Makan (eating) time!
Games time! Let us see which team can make-up most beautifully. There were 2 'customers' in each team. Each team member was only allowed to touch on one feature of the face. Someone would draw the eyebrow, another would apply the lipstick, another would apply the eyeshadow, power the face, etc. etc.

Another game. Pass the bubbles and see who collects the most bubbles!
And another game. Let us see who completes the jigjaw puzzle first!
The overall winner team and a present (plastic clips) for everyone!
This was an impromptu game. The teacher feeding one of her students, blindfolded!
It was a wonderful morning. We all had a good time!

KK Sunrise - 1st Anniversary

There were now more than 5-10 dancing groups in Kota Kinabalu. Some are purely line dancing while others like the KK Sunrise and ourselves have incorporated different types of dancing in our classes. One of the two dances "Tu Chien Hua" that we performed at the KK Sunrise Dance Group 1st anniversary celebration, using 2 scarfs.

Miri - 5th Anniversary

The dance group of the Miri Che Sing Khor Moral Uplifting Society celebrated their 5th anniversary with plenty of dances, performed by ourselves as well as by invited groups. "Because I love You" performed by our group.
