A new experience for me. We had Japanese steamboat (Shabu Shabu) at a restaurant in Lintas.The stock, of your choice, would be poured into your bowl, and topped up whenever you wanted.
You would wait until the soup is boiled and then throw in any of the food that was served in a tray (fish, meat, veg, etc.) of your choice. You cooked your own, whatever you want and how you want it. The restaurant had a nice relaxing setting. I liked it.
